As one of only 41 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers, and the only one in New Jersey, the CINJ is dedicated to improving the prevention, detection, treatment, and care of patients with cancer, through the application of laboratory discoveries in clinical practice.

CINJ not only shares the Tino Carbone Foundation’s dedication to finding a cure to brain cancer through research, but also to utilizing community-based partnerships to educate the public and raise awareness. Equally important, CINJ shares our belief that patients should be treated with the utmost compassion and should be provided a range of treatment options.

2009 Check Signing

2009 marked the second consecutive year that the Tino Carbone Foundation partnered with The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) to continue the fight against brain cancer. With the help of our players and sponsors, the Fourth Annual TCF Racquetball Tournament raised $7,000, which was donated to CINJ to advance ongoing brain cancer research. The previous year, CINJ received a donation of $15,000 raised at the Tino Carbone Foundation’s 2008 event.
